Request a room away from the cafe area to ensure a peaceful breakfast experience, as it can get quite noisy early in the morning.

Super comfy and cute spot!
Had a lovely stay in a single room. It was super comfy and nicely decorated. The staff were so friendly and helped carry my bags. Breakfast was delish with loads of options. The only thing was the stairs were a bit steep, but it was manageable. Great location near shops and pub too!

i had a great stay at this hotel, the staff were really friendly and welcoming. my previous visit to london didn't compare to how mate exceeded my expectations this time. the location was perfect for exploring the city, and the room was nicely decorated and comfortable for an overnight stop.

I had a great stay at Mate. The location is perfect, with tons of food options within walking distance. Getting to the underground was easy, making sightseeing a breeze. The staff really made a difference. they were super friendly and truly helpful. My room, while cozy, was a bit smaller than I expected. I appreciated the cleanliness, but the absence of proper coffee-making facilities felt like a downside. The breakfast was decent, but limited choices could be improved. the noise from the street was noticeable, especially during the morning hours, which made it hard to sleep at times. There's no air conditioning either, and my room was warm even with the window open.

perfectly placed for parks and landmarks in london
I recently stayed at this charming boutique hotel, just a few steps from the beautiful Apsley House and a quick stroll to the renowned Victoria and Albert Museum, making it ideal for my weekend explorations. the staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home, which truly enhanced my overall experience. While the hotel was a cozy gem, but it is worth noting that there is no lift, which could be a consideration if you have heavy luggage.

Mate is a little gem close to all the best eats, I couldn't resist the udon spots nearby! The location is just perfect for a quick bite after a day of exploring, and the ambiance adds a nice touch to the overall experience.
It's an older building, so you might hear a few frolicsome neighbors now and then, but it’s all part of that charming London vibe.
